Riding tall in North St. Louis

A fine sign for a store that seemingly no longer exists at this location.

In St. Louis this weekend on business I explored one of St. Louis' most northern neighborhoods: Baden.

Wow.

Great turn of the 20th century residential and commercial architecture throughout. Lots of vacancy or opportunity if you prefer to see it that way.

Baden's street lamp banners feature a high-wheel bike although I saw none in action during my visit to the neighborhood.
