Maybe in some alternate reality MoDOT or the Douglass County Public Works Department are able to now offer a guarantee that someday, sooner-than-later pavement... will... end. On that day people will have to walk wherever they need to go. SmartPhones will not be so damned relevant. We'll all occupy much smaller niches.
